Who is this trip for?
Do you need a break from your daily life? Need to be woken up from the same old same old? Are you willing to show up as your are and leave this experience as the best version of yourself?
This trip is for women over 21 who might want to travel with friends but can’t convince a group of people to travel with you. If you are nervous about traveling with a group of people you don’t know, remember that all your current friends were strangers when you first met them.
Are you tired of making countless decisions every single day about everything? All you have to do is book your flights and everything else is taken care of! You do not need to think about what to cook for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
All accommodations are shared rooms with individual beds.
Our Itinerary
Jan 19th- Arrive in Phnom Penh and transfer to our hotel. We will enjoy our first dinner together to kick off our trip
Jan 20th - We will spend the day exploring the vibrant city of Phnom Penh visiting Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda, the National Museum, Central Market and Wat Phnom. In the evening we will cruise along the Mekong River at sunset and eat our hearts out at the Night Market
Jan 21st - On our second full day in Phnom Penh we will dive deeper into Cambodian history visiting the Killing Fields and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum. In the afternoon will be food centered with a food tour around the city by tuk tuk.
Jan 22nd - We will transfer to the city of Kampot, the namesake for the unique pepper grown in this area, about 2 hours away for Phnom Penh. We will stop at Tonle Bati temple, La Plantation to learn about pepper farming, tour Phnom Chhngok cave and enjoy a sunset river cruise where we might see a sky full of fireflies if we are lucky.
Jan 23rd - We have a full day of touring Kampot and Kep which will include visits to the site Trapeang Sankae Mangrove Ecotourism. Taking a boat through the mangrove forest, salt fields to witness the local salt production, Krab market and lunch at local restaurant, Kampong Trach Cave and Kep beach and for dinner at The Wave Kep west restaurant.
Jan 24th - We will have an early start and a long driving day to transfer from Kampot to Siem Reap with a few stops along the way to explore Spider Village at Skun Town and Kompong Kdei Ancient Bridge along with lunch at a local restaurant before settling into our new hotel in Siem Reap. If we are up for it, we can stroll the streets of the Night Market to take in all the sights, sounds and tastes you could imagine but it should be a calm evening for our early wake up tomorrow.
Jan 25th - Our guides will be picking us up by 4:30 am to watch the sun rise at Angkor Wat. After breakfast nearby we wil coninte to explore other temples of Ta Prohm, Ta Nei,Victory gate of Angkor Thom and Bayon.
Tour end around lunchtime and we will have a few hours to rest and nap at the hotel or wander the city if you would like. Late afternoon we will be picked up you again to enjoy an evening on the water of Tonle Sap Lake touring floating villages.
Jan 26th - After we spend the morning learning how to cook all the Cambodian food we have fallen in love with, the afternoon is open to explore more historic temples, book a massage, take a nap or walk the city. For our last full evening together we will enjoy dinner with a traditional Cambodian dance performance.
Jan 27th - Sadly our time together has come to an end. Transfer to airport to fly home or stay on for extra exploring more of Cambodia or other South East Asian destinations. Either way we will start planning our next adventure together flying home with full hearts.

How do I get to Cambodia?
This trip starts in Phnom Penh and ends in Siem Reap. You can book a round trip ticket to Phnom Penh and then a one-way flight from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh for Jan 27th , you can book your ticket in and out of different airports, I can help arrange ground transportation back to Phnom Penh or stay on and explore more of South East Asia.

Do I need to be in great shape?
This trip is a cultural sightseeing adventure with a very active itinerary. You should have a baseline of physical fitness and be prepared to walk a lot so pack comfortable shoes but there is no hiking involved
What if I sign up now and can’t come?
Things happen all the time, I get it. While I can not offer immediate refunds or cancelations, I will make every effort to resell your spot on the trip and refund you as soon as the spot is filled by someone else. If unforeseen circumstances arise and the trip needs to be canceled, I will issue refunds, reschedule the trip for later in 2025 or 2026.
Do I have to pay all at once?
Nope! All that is necessary to secure your spot is a $500 deposit. The balance will be due by November 1st, 2025. You are welcome to pay the balance in installments or all at once by selecting the full pay option.
Do I need to book with a friend or can I come by myself?
Not at all! That is one of the awesome benefits to joining a group trip like this: the opportunity to make new friends! You are welcome to book with a friend if you the stars align and you both want in on this trip but it isn’t necessary. If you and a friend or two want to book together, that is also excellent!
I can’t make this trip, when is the next one?
I am working on it! I would love to host a handful of trips a year for adventurous women and I am actively plotting one cozy fall retreat and a few more for the spring and summer of 2025. The remaining balance of $1799 $1299 is due by November 1st, 2025 and can be paid in installments.
If you purchase a half pay spot the remaining balance of $1150 (sale reflected in lower deposit amount) is due by November 1st, 2025 and can be paid in installments.

All rooms are shared rooms with your own bed. If you are booking with a friend, you can certainly room together.
