Our Itinerary
Nov 1st- Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to our accommodations. We will enjoy our first dinner together to kick off our trip
Nov 2nd - After breakfast at our riad, we will spend the day exploring the red city of Marrakech with our tour guide. Some the Bahia Palace, the Saadienne tombs, the koutoubia mosque, Jamaa el Fna Square, the Majorelle garden and Ben Youssef Medrasa. After sundown and a rooftop dinner, we will walk to Jamaa el Fna, the main square in the old city that comes alive at night with snake charmers, storytellers and merchants.
Nov 3rd - Today we’ll travel to the Dades Valley via the High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. We’ll visit Ait ben Haddou Ksar, the largest and oldest ksar in Morocco. It is a UNESCO heritage site. Several movies have been filmed here, like The Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones and The Jewel of the Nile. Next stop will be in Ouarzazate, known as the African Hollywood before continuing to the Dades Valley via the Roses Valley.
Nov 4th - After breakfast at our hotel we’ll head to the Todghra Valley and Gorges, passing through a lots of ksours along the way. We’ll stop for a walk in the Todghra Gorges, the tallest and narrowest gorges in the country, then we will carry on toward Tinjdad for lunch before continuing toward Merzouga. We will enjoy1-hour camel ride through the golden dunes at sunset and have the opportunity to sand board if you’d like. We will spend the night a our luxury glamping site in the desert under millions of stars.
Nov 5th - After a spectacular sunrise photoshoot and breakfast in the dunes, we’ll ride our camels or ATVs back to the village of Merzouga. Then we will start our journey to Fes driving through the Ziz valley, the cedar forest. Next stop will be Ifrane which is known as the Little Switzerland. We’ll arrive in Fes by the afternoon where we can relax and stretch our legs
Nov 6th - After breakfast at your Riad, our local guide will pick you up at 09:00 AM and will take you on a full day of exploration into the oldest Medina of Morocco that dates back to the eight century. You’ll explore the narrow winding cobbled streets of the Medina, where donkeys are the main mode of transportation. Your tour will include historical sites of the Medina, including the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest university in the world, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine fountains, the famous tanneries, as well as the King’s Palace. Overnight in Fes inclduing bed and breakfast.
Nov 7th - Today we will leave Fes and drive toward Marrakech on our last long drive day but with plenty of stops. Our first stop will be Rabat which the capital of Morocco. We’ll visit the main historical sites including the Oudaya Kasbah, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan tower, the minaret of incomplete mosque. After that we will make our way to Casablanca where we will visit the iconic Hassan II mosque which is the largest mosque in Morocco built along the Atlantic Ocean where we will enjoy a delightful lunch by the seaside before continuing back to Marrakech. While this is a long drive day, we will have many opportunities to get out of the van and explore.
Nov 8th - Today we will take it slow with a coking class to learn how to prepare all the delicious food we have eaten through out our trip. Afterward we will relax and unwind with a Moroccan hammam spa experience. The rest of the day we are free to shop, roam the streets or visit any sights we might have missed on our first tour day in Marrakech.
Nov 9th - We will head back to the airport with full hearts, ready to book our next trip together.

Who is this trip for?
Women 21+ who have a sense of adventure and who want to connect with themselves and meet other adventurous women! If you need a break, a trip completely managed by someone else where all you have to do is just show up, I have you covered. Do you want to develop a bond with women who started out as strangers? This trip is for you!
How do I get to Marrakech?
You can fly into Marrakech Menara international airport. Transportation from the airport to our first hotel will be coordinated before arrival. Most flights from the US have a layover in Europe and extending that layover is a easy way to add another city to your trip. Pro tip: you can filter flights for layover time on Google Flights to find
Is Morocco Safe?
We will have a local guide and/or driver with us at all times. We will practice standard safe traveler precautions like not flaunting expensive jewelry or walking alone at night. We should plan to dress modestly and bring a scarf for head covering.
Do I need a visa?
US citizens do not need a visa to enter Morocco. Your passport should be valid for 6 months beyond the end of this trip and have at least one blank page.

Do I need to be in great shape?
This trip is primarily a cultural sightseeing trip with some activities like camel rides and sand boarding. While there is no hiking on this adventure, there will be plenty of walking on uneven ground and you should be prepared for busy days that will leave your feet tired and heart full. Pack comfy shoes! This trip covers A LOT of ground in Morocco in order to see as much of the country as possible, but that means we have a few long days in and out of our air conditioned van.
What if I sign up now and can’t come?
Things happen all the time, I get it. While I can not offer immediate refunds or cancelations, I will make every effort to resell your spot on the trip and refund you as soon as the spot is filled by someone else. If unforeseen circumstances arise and the trip needs to be canceled, I will issue refunds or reschedule the trip for 2026.
Do I have to pay all at once?
Nope! All that is necessary to secure your spot is a $1000 deposit. The balance will be due by September 1st, 2025. You are welcome to pay the balance in installments or all at once.
Do I need to book with a friend or can I come by myself?
Book with a friend or book alone, either way the most important thing is to show up as you are! One of the awesome benefits to joining a group trip like this is the opportunity to make new friends. You are welcome to book with a friend if you the stars align and you both want in on this trip but it isn’t necessary. If you and a friend or two want to book together that is excellent. Let me know so you can room together.
I can’t make this trip, when is the next one?
I am working on it! I would love to host a handful of trips a year for adventurous women and I am actively plotting new ones all the time. Let me know where you want to go and what you want to do on a My Adventure Girl Gang trip! Send me a message with your suggestions and requests so I can start planning. Don’t forget to sign up for my email list to be the first ones notified when a trip launches.

Only a $1000 deposit is necessary to secure your spot on this once in a lifetime trip!
The remaining balance of $1899 or $1449 (with half pay option) is due by September 1st, 2025. Payment plans are available.
Space is limited on this intimate trip so don’t sleep on this opportunity for adventure, bonding with rad women in a gorgeous environment.
All rooms are shared rooms with your own bed. If you are booking with a friend, you can certainly room together.
